So here is my first project. My kids have falling apart towels that Colin and I used when we were first married. They do not match the bathroom so much so I decided to buy them some new towels (I know I am such an amazing mom right). I found these really nice fluffy towels at Walmart for $3.50 each! I was like heck yes, but they needed a little umph cause they were just plain off white and frankly quite boring. So I bought two spools of ribbon each costing about $2.50 but have 9 feet on them so they will be available for more projects in the future. I just pinned the ribbon down the nice straight line already provided for me (super nice right?) then just sewed them on with a simple straight stitch down each side of the ribbon. Hello so much cuter towels! What do you think?

I just folded the ribbon over at the end so i wouldn't have fraying ribbon in the future (smart huh ;)
